Since error code 339 is a runtime error so it is final that you will only get this error if you run the program or system because runtime errors occur when the program or file is running or executing. Runtime error terminates the program or running application and sometime system crash so if you got runtime error 339 or other then never take it easy and try to fix it as soon as possible because if you will not solve this problem you may in peril due to hard disk crash, windows crash etc. As we know that system has so many important file and known as system files so if they are missing then system can’t start or if system started then may be that when you run a particular program or application then it may be hang or terminates so if you get any type of runtime error then try to remove it quickly. Error message is-
Runtime Error 339: Component xxxxxx.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.”
Cause of runtime error 339:-
Corrupt or missing comdlg32.ocx file is the main cause of runtime error 339. Comdlg32.ocx is the one of the most important file of the system so if it is damage or corrupt then you can get the runtime error 339. It may be also that malicious programs entered in the system and they damage the comdlg.ocx file or move it from its location or the system registry file is missing then it may be the issue of this problem.

How to fix this error:-
If you want to fix runtime error 339 then you have to reregister comdlg32.ocx so to do this activity go to the command prompt and run as administrator. Go to the Run and write in the search button as ”regedit” and type the code “regsvr32 comdlg32.ocx” in command prompt and press enter. After processing this restart the system and try to run the program. You can also check that the comdlg32.ocx is working or not so go to the location C:/Windows/System32 and open the comdlg32.ocx file and see the message it will as comdlg32.ocx installed successfully. A part from this step scan the system and use windows repair tool to repair the system files. You can use RegCurePro windows repair tool which is Microsoft partner and specially developed to remove the problems of windows based system.
